Transdev drivers achieve ‘Fleet Elite’ status for safe and smooth driving
Smoother driving, lower fuel consumption: We’re celebrating all our colleagues who have been recognised this year for a coveted GreenRoad safety award.
From Burnley and Blackburn to Malton and Keighley, 134 Transdev drivers achieved ‘Fleet Elite’ status this year – including 21 colleagues who have officially reached the rank of Grand Master!
Our GreenRoad champion route masters
Inside every single one of our vehicles, there is technology that measures everything from fuel efficiency to the smoothness of acceleration and braking.
It’s called GreenRoad and every year, it helps us recognise the smoothest and safest drivers in our teams across northern England.
Colleagues with particularly high safety scores earn ‘Fleet Elite’ status – this year, a staggering 134 of our drivers have been certified as Elite!
And of those, 21 drivers have now achieved the ultimate rank of ‘Grand Master’, which means they have hit top marks for an incredible five consecutive years!
This includes six drivers with the Blackburn Bus Company, nine with the Burnley Bus Company, one with Yorkshire Coastliner, and five with the Keighley Bus Company.
Head of Operations Kel Pizzuti celebrated:
“We are incredibly proud of all the drivers who have been awarded ‘Fleet Elite’ status this year, especially those who continue to rank highly on GreenRoad year on year.
“Their success reflects both the standard of training that they receive here at Transdev, and their own determination to provide high-quality driving to customers.
“The incentive created from these awards leads to a better service for everyone, and we are always looking for new talent to join our teams – so if you have similar ambition, you should look into our many open positions for Trainee and Qualified drivers.”
