Family days out by bus this summer

We're pleased to announce that our buses are taking part in the Great British Summer Savings, helping families enjoy great value days out this summer.

Whether you're taking your family to the bowling alley, a local museum or meeting friends, it's an affordable way to get out and about during the school holidays!

Who will be eligible for free travel this August?

Children under the age of 16 can travel free on our buses throughout August.

Children under 16 do not need to travel with an adult, but we would encourage parents or guardians to travel with them as our buses may be busier than usual. So please, plan your journey ahead of time using our Journey Planner.

How do I get free travel for my children?

We’ve made it as simple as possible – Hop on board, say hello to our friendly drivers and let them know how many children are travelling under the free travel offer, then collect your tickets and take a seat.

How long will the free travel offer last?

Free travel will be from 1 August 2026 to 31 August 2026.

What about young people aged 16, 17 and 18?

Customers aged 16 to 18 will continue to pay the usual Under 19 fare for their journey.
