New routes in Blackburn join our family from 18 May

We are delighted that bus routes 3, 10, 12A and 12C will join the Blackburn Bus Company from Monday 18th May following withdrawal by Blackburn Private Hire.

Thanks to funding from Lancashire Combined County Authority and Blackburn with Darwen Council, extra journeys will run on all services. 

The 3 to Daisyfield, Little Harwood & Sunnybower
The 10 to Wensley Fold, Revidge, Bearwood and Lammack. 
The 12A & 12C to Higher Croft, Blackamoor and Royal Blackburn Hospital

Your new improved bus services feature:

  • Extra trips - all three routes will have 'peak time' trips for those getting to work, school or college
  • Track your bus through the free Transdev Go app
  • Buses every hour Monday to Friday with 3 or 4 trips on Saturday.
  • Next stop audio and visual announcements helping you identify where to get off
  • Contactless bank card payments - for ticket purchase or 'tap on/tap off'
  • Single fares no more than £3, or great value period tickets if you travel regularly
  • £4 SWITCH ticket giving 60 minutes transfer to our other buses in Blackburn
  • "Anybus East Lancs" acceptance - if you need to change to another bus operator's service
  • Low emission engines
