Blackburn Hospital DelaysOngoing

Due to road works near to Blackburn Hospital we are seeing heavy delays to the Valley Line 22. These delays do increase around morning and afternoon peak hours.

We do apologise for this and work hard to minimise these delays.

Diversion on X4117th February

Due to a temporary road closure on Blackburn Road, RedExress X41 will be diverting 

Stops missed: Winfield’s, Tattersall Street, Hud Hey Road, Vale Street, Spring Lane, John Street & Health Centre 

Alternative stops:
-Towards Manchester: Rising Bridge Road & County Primary School
-Towards Accrington: Ryefield Avenue & Rising Bridge Road

Whalley Road closure Expected until 13th Jan

Whalley Road closure in place due to emergency gas works

Valleyline 22 will not be able to reach Foxfields 

Alternative stops: Elker Lane and Petre Arms in both directions

This is expected to be in place until 13th January

Due to temporary traffic lights at Ewood, The1 is experiencing delays on all journeys

Diversion on the 22 - Gas Leak8/1/25

Due to a major gas leak in Billington, Valleyline 22 will be diverting

Stops missed: Toby Jug, Judge Walmesley Hotel, Valley View, Calder Avenue, Billington Gardens, Elker Lane, Foxfields, Petre Arms

Alternative stops: Whalley Bus Station & Northcoat Road, Langho or Langho Railway Station

Due to temporary lights on the A666 near the Empire Theatre, The 1's and the No 2's are experiencing delays on all journeys
