We're making some changes to some of our college buses from 30 August.

  • The service Witchway X43 has disruptions

    Burnley to Rawtenstall & Manchester

    via Prestwich

    • Diversion on X41 & X43

      Today 04:00 - 23:59

      Due to an event in Manchester on 28th August, X41 & X43 will be diverting

      Stop missed: Chorlton Street

      Alternative stop: Stand S at Piccadilly

      This is in place from 4am to 12am (midnight)

      Please ensure to plan your travel accordingly

  • Burnley to Padiham, Accrington, and Clitheroe

    via Whalley, Huncoat

  • The service Mainline M3, Mainline M4, Mainline M5, Mainline M6 has disruptions

    Burnley to Skipton, Barnoldswick, Trawden & Keighley

    via Nelson, Colne

    • Colne Blues Festival

      27th Aug 2026 - 1st Sep 2026

      Colne Blues Festival 2026 is taking place!

      Services affected: Mainline M3, M4, M5 & M6

      Section of the route affected: Primet Hill, Albert Road, Church Street, Market Street, Craddock Road and Walton Street

      Stops missed: Phillips Lane, Masons Mill, Rail Station, Crown Hotel, Municipal Hall, Colne Lane, Colne Market Street, Gordon Street, British Legion, Cemetery, Clarence Street, Colne Bus Station, Walton Street, St. Johns Church, Sacred Heart Church

      All available stops on the diversion route will be served

      This is in place from 27th August to 1st September

      Please ensure to plan your travel accordingly

    • Bus stop inaccessible

      3rd Aug 2026 onwards

      Due to roadworks, Casterton Avenue is inaccessible and so the Mainline M3 will be diverting

      Alternative stops:

      -Towards Burnley: Prairie

      -Towards Nelson: Oaks Hotel

      This is in place until further notice

    • M3 Disruption

      27th Aug 2026 onwards

      Due to a police closure as the road has flooded and damaged the surface the M3 will be Terminating at Clarance Street and will U-turn on the roundabout to make the return journey

  • Burnley to Stoops Estate

  • The service 2, 2A has disruptions

    Burnley to Hospital & Nelson

    • 2 & 2A Diversion

      2nd Aug 2026 onwards

      Due to works vehicles causing issues on Hillingdon Road, the 2 and 2A will be diverting via Marsden Road

      Stops missed:

      -Towards Nelson: St James School, Red Spar Rd, Clock House Court, Beckenham Court, Longridge Heath and Hillingdon Rd North

      -Towards Burnley: Chislehurst Grove, Beckenham Court, Oakwood Close, Red Spar Rd and St James School

      The buses will serve all stops on the diversion route

      This is in place until further notice

    via Brownhill

  • Burnley to Pike Hill & Worsthorne

  • Harle Syke to Burnley & Rosegrove

    via Burnley General Hospital

  • Burnley to Bacup

    via Burnley Wood, Weir

  • Burnley to Accrington

    via Network 65 Business Park

  • The service 481, 483 has disruptions

    Bury to Blackburn and Burnley

    via Rawtenstall

    • Significant delays on the 481

      23rd Jul 2026 - 3rd Sep 2026

      Due to multiple road works along the Grane Road the 481 is seeing delays in both directions.

      These works are in place until the 3rd September.

      We will try our best to minimise these delays.

    • Diversion on 481

      31st Jul 2026 - 12th Sep 2026

      Due to an overnight road closures at Guide Roudabout, the 481 will be diverting

      Stops missed: Warner Street, Highfield Street, Jubilee Road, Gas Street, Holden Arms, Grane Road, Tower View, Foundation CEPS, Dog Inn, Lower Fold, Motorway Roundabout, Guide Beehive, Sudell Nook, Euro Garages

      All stops on diversion will be served

      This is in place from 9pm to 6am each week night until the 12th September

      We apologise for any inconvenience

    • Diversion on 481

      29th Jul 2026 onwards

      Due to emergency roadworks, the 481 will not be able to serve Belthorne Village

      The bus divert along Grane Road

      This is in place until further notice

      We apologise for any inconvenience

  • Preston to Blackburn & Burnley

    via Feniscowles, Clayton-le-Moors, Padiham

  • The service 120 COLLEGE BUS has disruptions

    Barnoldswick to Burnley College

    via Colne, Barrowford

    • Colne Bus Station Changes from 12th July

      23rd Jul 2026 onwards

      From the 12th July there will be some changes to the stands we depart from at Colne bus station.

      New Stands as follows

      Stand 2- Mainline towards Burnley

      Stand 3 - College buses 110 & 120.

      All other services remain unchanged.

    via Ewood, Shadsworth

  • Rising Bridge to Burnley College

    via Accrington

  • Nelson & Colne to Craven College

    via Earby, Barnoldswick

    via Burnley, Padiham, Read

  • Burnley & Nelson to Nelson & Colne College

    via Brierfield

  • Barnoldswick & Colne to Nelson & Colne College
