      Due to roadworks, Casterton Avenue is inaccessible and so the Mainline M3 will be diverting

      Alternative stops:

      -Towards Nelson: Oaks Hotel

    • Diversion on the M3 service

      28th Aug 2026 onwards

      Due to a road closure the M3 service is unable to serve Trawden. The service will be terminating at Heifer Lane roundabout

      There is a shuttle bus provided by the local authority during this time

      Please see details below for the shuttle bus:

      The shuttle bus will run from Friday 11th to Sunday 13 September, between the hours of 7.15am and 6.45pm each day

      This is a free shuttle bus and will display "EMERGENCY SHUTTLE BUS" sign on the front

      Continuous loop service throughout the day, with an estimated journey time of approximately 20 minutes, subject to traffic conditions, returning directly to the first stop after serving Colne Bus Station

      -Gladstone Terrace Bus Stop
      -Hopkinson Street Bus Stop
      -River Street Bus Stop
      -Trawden Arms Bus Stop

      Colne road is closed going towards nelson.The Mainline services & the 5 service will be diverting via Ormrod road, Eastern Avenue and Casterton avenue
