Delays & Diversion on CoastlinerUntil further notice

Owing to temporary traffic lights on the A64 Eastbound towards Leeds, all Coastliner journeys are experiencing delays and diverting 

The buses will be diverting via Stamford Bridge

-From York to Malton: Hazelbush Farm, Fera, Claxton Lane End, Flaxton Lane End, Harton Lane End, Jinnah Restaurant, Barton Hill, Whitwell Hill, Welburn Lodge, Crambeck, Huttons Ambo, York Road Ind Est, Rockingham Close, The Mount & Wells Lane

-From Malton to York: Railway Street, The Mount, Rockingham Close, York Road Ind Est, Huttons Ambo, Crambeck, Wellburn, Whithill, Barton Hill, Jinnah Restaurant, Harton Lane End, Flaxton Lane End, Claxton Lane End, Fera & Hazelbush Farm

Diversion on Coastliner 7th to 14th July

Due to roadworks at Heworth Roundabout in York, Coastliner will be diverting

Stops missed: 

-Heworth to Malton: Seymour Grove, Lime Avenue & Hempland Way

Alternative stop: Heworth Church

-Malton to Heworth: Herberts Way & Heworth Road 

Alternative stop: Whitby Avenue

This is in place from 7th July to 14th July, 7pm to 6am each night

Diversion on the 32 service04/07/2025 - Until further Notice

After confirming the road closures we have now reinstated the 32 service and due to the road closures we are having to divert the 32 service.

The stops missed are as follows:

St Oswalds Church

Crown & Anchor Car Park

Gravel Hole Lane

This will affect both directions

Coastliner 840 will not be serving Ruswarp due to low branches

Diversion on the 40 ServiceUntil Further Notice

Due to temporary traffic lights causing problems we are having to divert our 40 service.

The stops missed are: Paradise Fields (in both directions).

Getting you to the Coast this Summer from 20 July

We're getting ready for Summer - and to help make sure everyone can get to and from the coast as easily as possible, we'll be adding some new journeys running from 20 July to 30 August.

On Monday to Friday, the bus leaving Leeds at 8.35am will run all the way to Scarborough. Coming back, there is a new departure at 4.55pm from Scarborough to Leeds.

On Saturday, the bus leaving Leeds at 8.40am will run all the way to Scarborough. Coming back, there is a new departure at 4.55pm from Scarborough to Leeds.

On Sundays, the 9.23am trip from York to Whitby will start in Leeds at 8.10am.

There will be no other changes to times and these extra journeys will stop running after 30 August.
