Diversion on the M421/08/2026

Due to a road closure at Cross Hills our M4 service is currently unable to serve stops between Colne Market Street & Zolsha restaurant Crosshills.

we will update customers once full service is restored

Diversion on the 5, M3, M4, M5 & M6 - Colne Road10th to 22nd August

Due to multiple road closures on Colne Road, some of our services will be diverting

Resurfacing works will be taking place at various locations along the route and there will be multiple diversions in place during this time, depending on which part of the road is closed 

Services affected: the 5 and Mainline M3, M4, M5 & M6

This is in place from 10th to 22nd August, from 8pm to 6am (night time closure)

Bus stop inaccessible3rd August

Due to roadworks, Casterton Avenue is inaccessible and so the Mainline M3 will be diverting 

Alternative stops:

-Towards Burnley: Prairie

-Towards Nelson: Oaks Hotel

2 & 2A Diversion 14th August

Due to works vehicles causing issues on Hillingdon Road, the 2 and 2A will be diverting via Marsden Road

Stops missed:

-Towards Nelson: St James School, Red Spar Rd, Clock House Court, Beckenham Court, Longridge Heath and Hillingdon Rd North 

-Towards Burnley: Chislehurst Grove, Beckenham Court, Oakwood Close, Red Spar Rd and St James School 

The buses will serve all stops on the diversion route

Diversion on M2 & the 22 1st to 4th September

Due to a closure in Whalley at Junction of King Street and Accrington Road, the 22 and the M2 will be diverting

-the 22: Longsight Road, Foxfields, Elker Lane, Billington Gardens, Calder Avenue, Nab Rise, Judge Walmesley Hotel, Toby Jug, Bus Station, Hayhurst Road, Rookwood, Cemetery, The Eagle, Whiteacre Lane, Trafford Gardens, Primary School, Elbow Wood Drive, Clitheroe Golf Club

-the M2: Rendezvous, Bus Station, Hayhurst Road, Rookwood, Cemetery, The Eagle, Whiteacre Lane, Trafford Gardens, Primary School, Elbow Wood Drive, Clitheroe Golf Club

Possible delays on M3, M4, M5 & M623rd August

Due to an event in Nelson, Mainline M3, M4, M5 & M6 will be experiencing delays  

No stops will be missed. however please expect delays thorughout the journey, as the event will be in and around various locations within Nelson

This is in place on 23rd August, from 10am to 2pm

Due to road works and barriers blocking the stop opposite the Queensgate depot top, we will be unable to use this stop going into Burnley. The next available stop is Brennan Street

Colne Blues Festival 27th August to 1st September

Colne Blues Festival 2026 is taking place!

Services affected: Mainline M3, M4, M5 & M6

Section of the route affected: Primet Hill, Albert Road, Church Street, Market Street, Craddock Road and Walton Street

Stops missed: Phillips Lane, Masons Mill, Rail Station, Crown Hotel, Municipal Hall, Colne Lane, Colne Market Street, Gordon Street,  British Legion, Cemetery, Clarence Street, Colne Bus Station, Walton Street, St. Johns Church, Sacred Heart Church

All available stops on the diversion route will be served
