The Keighley Bus Company, part of the award-winning Transdev Blazefield, is looking for a skilled and motivated Shift PCV Engineer to join our engineering team at Keighley.

Working with one of the UK's most recognised bus operators, you'll be responsible for maintaining our fleet to the highest standards of safety, reliability and presentation. The role

As a Shift PCV Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable and available for service every day.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults in an efficient and effective manner
  • Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance, including 28-day safety inspections
  • Completing vehicle repairs to company and manufacturer standards
  • Supporting vehicle MOT preparation in accordance with DVSA Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness standards and Transdev engineering procedures
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
  • Contributing to fleet reliability, availability and operational performance
  • Participating in ongoing engineering and compliance training, including IRTEC and Health and Safety programmes
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve engineering and depot objectives

What are we looking for

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • Level 3 NVQ qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Engineering or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds or similar)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience of vehicle maintenance, servicing and repairs
  • A flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns
  • A commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety
  • Good communication and team working skills
  • A full UK driving licence
