The town has a great selection of high street shopping, plus four markets dating back to 1498 – Tuesday is the most popular day for outdoor stalls, while the indoor Covered Market opens on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and is filled with local produce including food, drink, fashion and much more.
