New evening and Sunday buses on the 8 from 20 July

In partnership with Lancashire County Council, we're bringing new evening and Sunday buses to the 8 from 20 July.

On Monday to Saturday, there will be new buses leaving Burnley to Bacup at 7.40pm, 8.40pm, 9.40pm and 10.40pm. Returning from Bacup, buses will depart at 8.06pm, 9.06pm, 10.06pm and 11.06pm. 

On Sundays, buses will depart Burnley hourly from 9.40am to 6.40pm, and Bacup at 10.06am to 7.06pm.

The new evening and Sunday journeys will not serve Pennine Road.

Diversion on 481 & 48323rd Feb to 3rd Oct

Due to an overnight road closure at Angouleme Way, Bury, IrwellLine 481 & 483 will be diverting

Stops missed: Bury Market, The Rock, Moorgate Primary Care Centre.

Alternative stops: Bury Interchange & Fox Street

This is towards Rawtenstall only

This is in place from 23rd February to 3rd October, 7pm to 6am each night
