simple fares for 2025

For all of 2025, the Government has announced that they will cap single bus journeys at just £3!

We're here to help you double check that you're getting the best value ticket with this handy guide.

Travelling in Lancashire?

Most of our single tickets will be £3, but we'll have a new £2.50 fare for shorter journeys. Your driver will be able to let you know if your journey is classed as a short one. These prices will be for cross boundary journeys between Lancashire and Greater Manchester or West Yorkshire too. The £1 after 7pm and on Sundays deal is here for journeys wholly in Lancashire. Please note this does not include journeys that start in Lancashire and finish in a neighbouring authority.

Travelling in Greater Manchester?

If you travel wholly within the Greater Manchester area on the 464 and Irwell Line, the Mayor of Greater Manchester is continuing the £2 adult and £1 under 16 fare. There will be some changes to Bee Network tickets. As we're a bus company based outside of Greater Manchester, the new hopper ticket won't work on our buses unfortunately.

Travelling in West Yorkshire on the 7?

Fares are capped at £2.50 single - and you can get a DaySaver giving you unlimited travel for £6.

  • If you're making a few trips around Blackburn, grab a Blackburn 1 (£6) which gives you full flexibility if you want to jump back on the bus later on. With a bundle of 10 (£48), it works out at just £4.80 per day.
  • If you're going to be travelling further afield in Lancashire and using 3 or more buses, get a Lancashire 1 (£9) - and a bundle of 10 is just £72 (£7.20 per day).
  • If you're heading further afield, such as to Manchester, our Gold 28 (£150) may be best value if you're catching a few buses in a day.

We think the new fares still offer great value for you, especially compared to the cost of driving and parking. The new fares offer a significant discount of over 50% on some of our longest journeys - and there may be a money-saving multi journey ticket for you too.
