Summer buses on DalesBus are back!
From Saturday 4 April & Sunday 5 April, weekend summer buses on Dalesbus are back!
We're working in partnership with DalesBus to bring you some of the most scenic bus routes in Yorkshire, taking you to some fantastic destinations.
74 York - Knaresborough - Harrogate - Otley - Ilkley - Bolton Abbey - Burnsall - Grassington
We'll be making a few changes to the timetable on this route to improve our reliability - this route will now start at Rawcliffe. This bus runs on Saturdays. This route offers a wide choice of easy strolls, or more challenging riverside and woodland walks. Grassington features as Darrowby in Channel 5’s remake of classic TV drama “All Creatures Great and Small”.
825 York - Knaresborough - Harrogate - Brimham Rocks - Fountains Abbey - Masham - Leyburn - Richmond
The 825 is back every Sunday for the summer - running every weekend until 18 October 2026. Join us on this scenic journey into the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, and hop off at Brimham Rocks, Fountain Abbey, or explore the vibrant and iconic town of Richmond.
875 York - Leeds - Ilkley - Grassington - Kettlewell - Buckden - Aysgarth - Hawes
The 875 is back every Sunday for the summer - running every weekend until 18 October 2026. This stunning trip connects you to the wonderful market town of Grassington (where you can visit the market on the 3rd Sunday of the month, admire Aysgarth Falls or explore the countryside walks in Hawes.
864 Bradford - Ilkley - Skipton - Malham
866 Keighley - Skipton - Malham
873 Ilkley - Bolton Abbey - Embsay - Skipton
These services form Cravenlink and are perfect for a day out around Ilkley and Skipon. The breathtaking Bolton Abbey is always worth a visit, and you can join the Pennine Way walking route - one of the most popular walking routes in England.
And from 3 May, the 820 and 821 return too!
820 Bradford - Shipley - Otley - Washburn - Pateley Bridge
821 Keighley - Shipley - Otley - Washburn - Pateley Bridge - Lofthouse - Scar House
These services are perfect for exploring upper Nidderdale and the cafes, pubs, shops and galleries within... or why not plan a walk? The spectactular How Stean Gorge is well worth a visit, just alight at Lofthouse, or walk around the peaceful and beautiful Scar House Reservoir.
