An update for X98 X99

We wanted to let you know that our time running the X98 and X99 services between Leeds and Wetherby will come to an end after the last journeys on 30th August. West Yorkshire Combined Authority are working to find a new operator, and we'll be working closely with them to make sure everything transitions smoothly for you.

Since Firstbus stepped away in October 2022, we've been proud to keep these routes running for customers. Despite us seeing more customers choosing to travel with us, rising costs are making it harder to keep the service running sustainably. After a lot of thought, we believe handing over to a new operator is the right move.

A big thank you to everyone who’s travelled with us - and a special mention to our driving team for delivering fantastic service to our customers over the years - they will be staying with us and redeployed our other routes, including the 7 which we will continue to operate.
