MPRS
All seven of our engineering workshops are MPRS Platinum accredited.
From staff qualifications and management to the facilities and equipment we operate, our engineering workshops are some of the safest and most compliant in the industry.
MPRS Platinum accreditation
Aimed at workshops and maintenance facilities of all sizes, the Maintenance Provision Rating Scheme (MPRS) is a single rating that gauges the performance of both facilities and workforce through comprehensive audits and collective evidence.
Essentially, it’s a scoring system that reflects the quality of a workshop’s facilities and technical expertise – the better the rating, the more competent and qualified the work.
There are five levels to an MPRS rating: Qualified, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
In 2026, our engineering workshop in Burnley officially received ‘Platinum’ MPRS accreditation, becoming our seventh and final workshop to achieve this outstanding rating.
This means that all seven of our individual engineering workshops – Keighley (including the school bus service), York (including Malton and Idle), Blackburn, Burnley, Harrogate, Elland, and Waterloo – are working to ‘Platinum’ standard.
We’re incredibly proud of all our engineers, supervisors, managers, cleaners, and operational support staff for helping us achieve this Platinum clean sweep. Now, we’re focused on maintaining these incredible standards.
MPRS is in addition to our engineering and operations teams being formally recognised by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
