We're really proud to have local faces on the back of all our brand new single deck electric buses. They're all people of Harrogate and our surrounding towns and cities, and we're showcasing some fantastic local businesses too!
Ebonie
Ebonie is a student at Henshaw's Specialist College and she is an inspiration to us all! Ebonie has autism but has really shown her talent and skills off - she's an amazing swimmer, a natural at yoga and is a whizz around the home... keeping everything clean and doing the hoovering! Since studying at Henshaws College, Ebonie's confidence has grown massively and she's an asset to our community.
Emily
Emily lives in Jennyfield and goes to school in Harrogate - she's a familar face travelling on the 3. She has no shortage of fascinating hobbies and is a keen swimmer, as well as learning how to play the piano and guitar. She's part of our local Brownies group. She's doing really well at school and brings a smile to her friends faces.
Harry
If you live in or regularly visit Harrogate, you will know Harry! He's an expert on our local history, and leads the popular Harrogate Walking Tour which is popular with locals and visitors alike. At the moment, Harry is having a little break - he's been cycling from Harrogate to Cairo in Egypt all to raise money for the Artizan! This is an amazing cause, and we're all so proud of Harry for this.
Thommo, Ox and Marchy from Harrogate Town AFC
Meet Thommo, Ox and Marchy, 3 of Harrogate Town AFC's star players. They're helping to promote sustainable travel to the match, as we pass every hour on the 7. The best thing is that their player numbers are 1, 7 and 24 - three great numbers!
Kayti and Esme
Kayti and Esme are also stars on our shiny new buses. They absolutely love a day out by bus and spend their weekends and school holidays exploring attractions in our local areas. Kayti is a real expert in family friendly days out as she runs Mumber, a great website to find things to do in and around Harrogate.
Kenza, Chris and Maddy from The Fat Badger
Everyone loves a trip to The Fat Badger in Harrogate - it's one of Harrogate's best nights out. Kenza, Chris and Maddy are three of the star team there to serve you brilliant drink and food. This special bus promotes the evening buses to many areas of town, so you can make the most of your night and don't need to think about getting an expensive taxi.
Rory
Rory has just started school in Knaresborough and is a regular on the 1C route. He loves transport, especially travelling by bus, and is a big fan of a ride to Valley Gardens or RHS Garden Harlow Carr. When he's not out and about, you can find him at home playing with lego.
Jay
Jay goes to school in Knaresborough and is a huge fan of getting out with the family by bus. At the weekend and in the school holidays, he loves get on the bus and visit somewhere new. He's one of our most regular customers, so many of our drivers know him, and he loves to give a big wave to the bus as it goes past!
Aiden
Aiden is one of our local customers and loves a day out by bus with the family. He's got a passion for transport, and loves nothing more than looking at our local buses and trains.
Rafa and Margot
Rafa and Margot both go to school in Harrogate. Rafa loves the outdoors, and is starting to play football for a new team, and has just started school in Reception class. Margot loves anything theatrical and is a big singer and dancer. Not only that, she's an amazing artist and loves to write stories - Margot is certainly going to have a creative career ahead of her!
Miriam and George
We all know how important it is to stay healthy and fit, and a great way to do this is to visit your local health clubs and gyms. Miriam and George both work at David Lloyd Clubs in Harrogate and are part of their expert team to help you look after yourself. You can jump on either the 36 or the 3 to get to David Lloyd Clubs - it's just a short walk from the bus stops.
Grace
Grace lives in Bilton and goes to school in Harrogate. She loves art, judo and football - and is an avid Leeds Rhinos supporter, her favourite players being Ash Handley and Matt Frawley!
Olivia
Our youngest star of the back of the bus is Olivia - she was just a few months old when the photo was taken! Olivia loves the outdoors and going for walks, and playing. She spreads joy wherever she goes, and gives everyone a friendly smile.
Seth and Lyndsey
Meet Seth and Lyndsey! Lyndsey is one of our amazing friendly drivers, who can usually be found serving our customers on the 1 between Harrogate and Knaresborough. Seth is her young son - who loves seeing his mum drive our buses... we think he'll be following in his mum's footsteps one day!
Sofia and Jackson
Sofia and Jackson love to travel as a family by bus too. And when they are not on great days out, Sofia loves gymnastics and Jackson is a big football fantatics.
Aaron
Big bus fan Aaron loves nothing more than exploring Yorkshire by bus with his family. He's well known by our friendly drivers, and is one of our most regular customers.
Charlie and Paul
We're so lucky to have amazing drivers who always greet our customers with a smile. Charlie and Paul are just two of them. Charlie joined us a few years ago as a trainee driver, gaining his bus licence through The Academy. On the other hand, Paul is one of our most experienced drivers, starting his career in London before spending part of his career on the coaches, then settling down with us in Harrogate a few years ago.
Grace and Chelsea from Mama Doreen's
In Harrogate, we've got so many fantastic cafes. One of our favourites is Mama Doreen's, known for their exquisite Yorkshire born and baked cakes and excellent customer service. Grace and Chelsea are two of the super team at Mama Doreen's in Harrogate!
Jack and Jacob
Jack and Jacob are more customers who love a day out with the family by bus. They both love swimming and often catch the bus to the Hydro!
Jane
Jane used to be a teacher at a local school in Harrogate and has now retired. She loves nothing more than a trip to our local markets, and can recommend Wetherby Market on a Thursday!
