3 weeks ago Tue 29th Oct 2019

Christmas isn't just about turkey and mince pies. Well, OK, so a few mince pies may be consumed. But there's lots of other amazing things going on across Lancashire - and there's no better way of getting there than by bus.

Here's a handy summary of how our buses are running over Christmas and New Year.

Monday 23 December Saturday service with some exceptions, shown below
Tuesday 24 December Christmas Eve Saturday service with some exceptions and the last buses shown below
Wednesday 25 December Christmas Day No service
Thursday 26 December Our amazing Boxing Day buses are back for another year!
Friday 27 December Saturday service with some exceptions, shown below

Monday 30 December Saturday service with some exceptions, shown below
Tuesday 31 December New Year's Eve Saturday service with some exceptions and the last buses shown below
Wednesday 1 January No service
Thursday 2 January Buses return to normal

On Monday 23, Tuesday 24, Friday 27, Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 December, we'll be running a Saturday service, but with some changes to early morning and late night buses. The 9 will be running the normal Monday to Friday service.

On Mainline M5, there'll be a bus from Burnley to Barnoldswick and the Silentnight factory leaving Burnley at 0500, and from Barnoldswick to Colne at 0602.

There won't be the normal Saturday late night buses on the Witchway, so there'll be no departures from Manchester at 0000, 0100, 0200 or 0300, or buses from Burnley at 2245 or 2345 on 23, 27 and 30 December.
