tickets for young people
Are you under 19, and paying the full adult fare whenever you use the bus? This could be the oddest advice you've ever had from a bus company - but we mean it.
We don't want you to be paying full fare if you're under 19. Money is meant for better things than spending on bus travel, right? We know that the bus is your ticket to freedom, and with free WiFi and USB power on lots of our buses, we also help you to stay connected with your friends.
Under 5s travel free
Children under 5 travel free on all of our buses, they just need to be travelling with an adult!.
Under 19s get 1/3 off adult fares, no ID required - just ask your driver for a U19 ticket. From your 19th birthday, check out our range of standard priced tickets.

It's a no brainer, so make your choice, start saving and decide what you're going to do with all that extra cash.
If you're a student, our student Gold 7 and Gold 28 tickets may out best value for you - these tickets offer unlimited travel on all of our buses across the North. If you attend one of our local colleges or universities, they may be able to offer you a reduced price term ticket - speak to your college or university's student services team for more information.
Do I need ID?
ID isn't required if you're under 19, but some people think you look older, it might be worth carrying it just in case our driver isn't sure. If you're a student aged 19 or over, please carry your ID card when you're using the bus, as our driver may wish to see this.
