Harrogate bus station resurfacing

2 weeks ago Mon 4th Nov 2019

Our bus station in Harrogate is being resurfaced overnight from 20 November.

You may have noticed that there have been potholes on the bus station for quite a while. We haven’t been able to repair the surface until now because a drain has collapsed underneath the road, which has meant that we’ve needed to repair the drain as well as resurface the road. We are sorry that it has taken much longer than we would like.

The work is taking place overnight for three nights from Wednesday 20 November.

On the nights of 20, 21 and 22 November a small number of buses which usually use the bus station will be dropping off and picking up at the roadside just after the bus station on Station Parade. The journeys affected are:

23:40 1A to Starbeck, Knaresborough and Aspin

00:00 1B to Starbeck, Knaresborough and Eastfield

00:15 36 to Starbeck

00:20 1C to Starbeck, Knaresborough and Carmires

Thanks for bearing with us. You’ll see an improvement in the quality of your ride in and out of the bus station, once the work is complete.
