We're using temporary timetables. We're still running most of our buses, just not as often, as we focus on getting key workers to work

We’ve formed a tasty partnership with Visit Malton

1 month ago Tue 10th Mar 2020

We are teaming up with the people behind Malton’s rise to fame as Yorkshire’s Food Capital in an exciting new partnership to promote the North Yorkshire town to visitors.

The historic town has been successfully transformed to become one of Britain’s most renowned foodie destinations, with a thriving monthly food market which returns for the first time in 2020 on Saturday 14th March and the centrepiece Food Lovers Festival in May, extended to three days this year by popular demand.

We’re based in Malton so it’s the perfect opportunity to create a partnership with Visit Malton, to bring in more visitors from across Yorkshire and beyond while reducing congestion on its streets and helping to clear the air for everyone.

We’ll be there with one of our Coastliner buses at the Food Lovers Festival, offering travel advice and with special offers and giveaways – and we’re also working with Visit Malton on discount travel packages for many of Malton’s events such as Meadowfest, Malton’s boutique music festival which takes place this year on Saturday, 18 July.

Details of the travel plus admission deal for Meadowfest, plus the full line-up of performers on the event’s two open-air stages, will be announced by us and Visit Malton closer to July’s event.
