You will see iconic attractions such as Clifford’s Tower. Part of the last remains of York Castle, the tower is a great way to transport yourself back to Medieval times and learn more about a fascinating part of York’s history. That’s not all, though, boasting panoramic views of the city, it’s a great place to start your tour of York by picking out all the places you want to see up close, notably offering a cracking view of York Minster! You can even see as far as the North York Moors.

You can find the impressive Railway Museum, with such national treasures as the breath-taking Flying Scotsman and the opportunity to take a tour of the Royal Carriages. From Queen Victoria’s so called ‘palace on wheels’ to Queen Adelaide’s saloon, the oldest preserved carriage in Europe, there really is an abundance of rich railway history available, all for free!

The world-famous York Minster is also on the route, a perfect addition to your tour of this magnificent city. One of the world’s most spectacular cathedrals, the Minster is not something to miss out of your whirlwind tour of York. From the incredible collection of stained glass windows to the immaculate medieval architecture, it is the perfect place to explore the city’s Roman history, as well as appreciate the religious significance of the Minster.

The CitySightseeing York tour is the best way to enjoy this one of a kind city, at an affordable price on a schedule that suits you, what are you waiting for?!
