Dick Turpin grabs our Dungeon Discount Deal

Renowned rogue Dick Turpin met his untimely end in York, but he still knows a steal of a deal when he sees one!
The infamous highwayman rolled up to York Dungeon to grab the new discount deal, saving 30 per cent off entry to the popular attraction on Clifford Street – available exclusively to our customers on Coastliner and CitySightseeing York buses.
Coastliner buses travelling from Leeds, Tadcaster, Malton, Pickering and the Yorkshire Coast will display a quick response (QR) code inside. When scanned with a mobile phone camera, it generates a voucher worth 30 per cent off admission at York Dungeon.
The same QR code is also displayed on City Sightseeing York’s bright red open-top tour buses, giving visitors discovering York with us instant access to the money-saving deal.
CitySightseeing York Supervisor Nellie Kay said: “Dick Turpin’s grave in St George’s Churchyard is one of the famous sights of York, and is among the many celebrated views from our open-top buses which captivate thousands of visitors every year.
“We’re making it easier and more affordable for our customers to discover our city’s attractions, as unlike Dick Turpin, we want them to come back for more!”
Visitors and locals alike can also show a valid Coastliner or City Sightseeing York tour bus tickets – or a ‘Transdev Treats’ voucher available from bus drivers – at York Dungeon to access the discount admission offer.
Full details of Coastliner buses, tickets and times are available online and on the free Transdev Go mobile app, while for more information and bookings for City Sightseeing York’s tours visiting 21 stops across the city, visit yorkcitysightseeing.com.
