Roadworks affecting our stops between West Heslerton and Seamer

Today 20:00 - 28th Sep

Due to roadworks from 8pm 25 Sept to 6am 28 Sept we are unable to reach all of our stops between West Heslerton and The Mayfield, Seamer on Coastliner 843. We're very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Change to Wednesday afternoon 8 and 8V buses

23rd Sep - 23rd Oct

From 23 September, we've made a change to the Wednesday afternoon 8 and 8V buses.

The Wednesday 8V will now run through to Burnley, leaving The Valley Leadership Academy at 2.45pm & arriving at 3.32pm. This means the Wednesday 8 at 3.27pm will no longer be running.

New route 784 linking Skipton, Ilkley and Otley from 5 Oct.

23rd Sep - 5th Oct

From 5 Oct we will be taking over the 784 service that links Skipton, Ilkley and Otley. There will be an hourly bus from Monday to Saturday. KDAY and KCARD Extra tickets will be accepted on the 784. You can make connections with Pendle Wizz at Skipton using a Daytripper or Gold ticket.

Roadworks affecting some of our The36 stops in Harrogate

22nd Sep onwards

🚧 The36 from Leeds to Harrogate is currently unable to reach West Park, Beech Grove and the War Memorial. This is due to roadworks on Parliament Street. If you wish to get off at these stops then you can stay on board if the bus is going onwards to Ripon, after Harrogate bus station. Please check with your driver first.

ℹ️ Your nearest stop in Harrogate will be the Prince of Wales roundabout or Harrogate bus station. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Roadworks at Waterfoot mean we cannot reach the turning circle

16th Sep onwards

⚠️ Due to roadworks, we are unable to reach Waterfoot turning circle on #IrwellLine 483. Your nearest alternative stop will be Warth Bridge or the Co-Op. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We have introduced extra buses reserved for school children to make sure everyone can travel safely. If you are a student that usually travels on The 24 from Nidderdale to Harrogate then please use the dedicated school bus which goes direct to St John Fisher and St Aidan's. There is also an extra bus that travels from Harrogate to Nidderdale High School. See The 24 timetable for all the times.

We have introduced extra buses reserved for school children to make sure everyone can travel safely.

If you are a student and usually travel between Accrington and Blackburn on the 7 then please use the 7B instead from Accrington bus station at 7:37am, this bus runs on school days only and continues to St Wilfrids school arriving at 8:32am. 7B buses are reserved for school students.

For return journeys please catch the 6B, this bus runs on schools days except Tuesdays and starts from St Wilfrid's Academy at 3:30pm. On Tuesdays the 6B leaves St Wilfrids at 2:30pm.

Some journeys at school times will be replaced by school buses for Darwen Vale High School, Darwen Aldridge Academy and Sharples High School. If you are a student then please catch the 701 which follows the same route as The1. Please see The1 timetable for times.

We have introduced extra buses reserved for school children to make sure everyone can travel safely. S1 will run alongside The1 from Harrogate to King James. The S1 morning service leaves Harrogate bus station at 7:56am and arrives at King James at at 8:17am. In the afternoon the S1 leaves King James at 3:25pm arriving into Harrogate bus station at 3:47pm.

If you are a student travelling to Malton School then please use the dedicated school bus numbered 195R which runs every school morning from Hovingham at 8:10am and returns from Malton School at 3:20pm.

Road closure affecting route

7th Sep - 31st Mar

Due to a road closure in West Lilling from 7 Septembner to 31 March 2021 we will be unable to reach the stop on Goose Track Lane. The bus will instead follow Moor Lane and Skegmer Lane in both directions.

Roadworks from Albert Street to Railway Station in Hebden Bridge

4th Sep - 30th Oct

Due to roadworks from 4 September to 30 October from Albert Street to Railway Station, the B3 will be unable to reach the Hebden Bridge Railway Station stop.

We can't use all our stops on Norden Road due to a road closure

3rd Sep onwards

Norden Road is partly closed due to a large hole opening up in the road, so we're not able to reach all our stops.

This is affecting #trax and #RochdaleRunners R2 and R8. We can't reach our two stops between Clay Lane and Bamford in both directions. All other stops are unaffected.

We're unable to reach some of our stops on the 2B

31st Aug onwards

We're unable to reach our bus stops on Skipton Road, and on Kings Road for journeys into Harrogate. Journeys leaving Harrogate are not affected.

We are unable to reach some stops on The 24 due to a gas leak

Roadworks on Manchester Road in Burnley affecting some Witchway stops

31st Jul onwards

🚧 Due to unplanned roadworks on Manchester Road in Burnley we are unable to reach our stops between Summit and the rail station on #Witchway. This is only for trips heading into Burnley between 9am and 6pm. For trips leaving Burnley we can still serve all stops as normal.

ℹ️Your nearest alternative stop will be Rossendale Road. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Social distancing measures in Wetherby Town Centre affecting route

22nd Jul onwards

From 22 July for at least three weeks we will be unable to reach stops Parsons Green, First Avenue and Fourth Avenue towards Leeds only due to social distancing measures in Wetherby Town Centre. Instead, we will be using Boston Road stop, near Wetherby police station. Buses towards Harrogate will be using the usual route.

Skipton Road roadworks affecting route

21st Jul onwards

From 21 July for at least one week, we will be unable to reach Norwich Drive stops due to roadworks. We recommend you use stops Harewood Drive or Crowberry drive during this time.

Stops missed Mon - Fri due to roadworks

6th Jul - 20th Nov

There will be roadworks in place between Oxenhope and Hebden Bridge from Monday 6th July to Due to Friday 20th November. While these are in place the B3 will not be able to reach stops between Oxenhope and Hebden Bridge Monday to Friday. On weekends, the route will be followed as usual. We're sorry if this affects your journey with us.

Low branches obstructing route

3rd Jul onwards

ℹ️Until further notice, the 62 will be unable to reach stops on Ilkley Road, Sandbeds in Addinghamℹ️

Instead, we will be using stops on Main Street, Wharfedale Road and Skipton Road in Addingham.

Closure on St James Street

22nd Jun - 30th Nov

From Monday 22 June to Monday 30 November, St James Street will be closed for bridge works. This means we can't use the Empire stop, and instead will be using an alternative stops on Bethesda Street for outbound journeys and Lancs Way and Manchester Rd for inbound. We're sorry if this affects your journey with us.

Roadworks on Main Street and Lane Side

15th Jun onwards

From 15 June until further notice, the K17 buses will not be able to reach stops on Main Street and Lane Side in both directions due to roadworks. Instead, they will use the Crook Lane stop. We're sorry if this affects your journey with us.

Closure of Deansgate affecting stops

12th Jun onwards

Red Express and Witchway are no longer able to pick customers up on Deansgate, Following the recent closure of part of Deansgate by Manchester City Council we have had to use a diversion via Blackfrairs Street. Unfortunately Salford City Council are now making Blackfrairs Street one way which stops us using Deansgate for journeys to Accrington or Burnley. The nearest bus stop is now outside Trinity Church on Chapel Street. Buses will still be able to drop you on Deansgate when travelling into Manchester. We are very sorry for this further disruption which is completely outside our control

Road closure on High Street in Skipton means we cannot serve colleges

10th Jun onwards

From 10th June for eight weeks High Street in Skipton will be closed every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. This will cause the 4.20pm Pendle Wizz to be unable to serve the colleges with Skipton College and Gargrave Road being missed. Instead, the Broughton Road stop will be in use. We are sorry if this affects your journey with us.

We can't reach Skipton High Street on Market Days

From 10 June Skipton High Street will be closed on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays for the foreseeable future. This means the 72 will not able able to reach Market Place, Castle View Terrace, Grassington Road and Sod Hill stops.

Different route on the 4

8th Jun onwards

Stops Brunshaw Avenue and Rimington Ave will be missed and instead the 4 will serve Brownhill Avenue on its way to Worsthorne and Brownhill Rimington Ave on its return to Burnley.

Unable to reach Vicar Lane stop due to roadworks

Due to roadworks from Sunday 31 May the 7 will be unable to reach the Vicar Lane stop in Leeds. We're sorry if this will cause any inconvenience to your journey with us

Roadworks in Waterfoot

18th May onwards

Roadworks are in place on Bacup Road in Waterfoot at the moment. This means that 464 towards Accrington and Irwell Line 483 towards Bury are not able to stop at Waterfoot Co-op. If this is your usual stop head over to Warth Bridge instead.

Deansgate Closure, Manchester

16th May onwards

From Saturday 16 May for the foreseeable future part of Deansgate will be closed. While this closure is in place, the Witchway and Red Express are not able to reach the normal stop on Deansgate. If this is your usual stop we'll be using the St Mary's Gate stop on Deansgate (near Harvey Nichols) instead.

We can't reach our bus stop at the Royal Hall

13th Apr onwards

Ambulances using the road in front of the NHS Nightingale Hospital at the Harrogate Convention Centre mean we can't reach our stop at Royal Hall on The 36, Harrogate Electrics 3 and 24 for buses coming in to Harrogate.

The nearest stops are opposite the Cairn Hotel or on Cheltenham Parade.

Closure of Accrington Road

4th - 4th Nov

Accrington Road will be closed for around one year (after Rosegrove) from 4 November 2019. The 9 and school bus 852 won't be able to stop along Accrington Road whilst the roadworks are taking place.

This means we won't be able to stop at Hargher Street, Cog Lane, Florence Street, Barclay Hills, Willie Holts or Valley Gardens.

If you normally catch the 9 or 852 on Accrington Road, head to the Mitre stop where we'll be able to pick you up instead.

We'll still be stopping at Network 65 - the 9 will run along the M65 from the roundabout at Burnham Gate, and will come off the motorway at the next junction, and into Network 65 as normal.

These disruptions could affect future journeys

We are unable to reach some of our stops on Irwell Line 481 due to roadworks.

28th - 29th Sep

Due to a road closure at Grane Road, we are unable to reach all off our Irwell Line stops between Haslingden and Guide Blackburn from 28 September until 29 September. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. The bus will instead use Old Haslingden Road in both directions.
