Let's meet Steve

Steve joined Transdev at Burnley in 2016 before moving to be General Manger in Harrogate in 2021. Steve says his best day so far has to be the launch of the new buses for Mainline, when we hosted an open day at our Queensgate depot – a brilliant day which raised a lot of money for charity and was great fun to be part of.

In the day-to-day job, Steve's objective is to meet and beat our customers’ objectives, while always making sure we fully comply with high standards of health and safety. Our amazing team includes drivers, customer service team, engineers, cleaners and our duty managers. Most of all, he enjoys coaching and mentoring with our people – he thinks they’d describe him as honest, trustworthy, consistent and fair. 

In his spare time, Steve enjoys being with his family, going to the gym and photography – especially landscapes. He'd love to take his camera to Peru one day for the amazing scenery. 

Steve also enjoys reading - favourite author, John Grisham – and when he gets the chance to watch football, he follows Tottenham Hotspur. When it comes to music, it has to be Queen – until he saw the movie ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, he hadn’t fully appreciated how good they really were!
