Let's meet Kel

Kel joined us part way through 2021 as Operations Supervisor for York Citysightseeing. He has since moved up to Operations Manager for our York and Malton depots.

Kel says “I always start my day by checking in with our Duty Managers and driving teams to make sure everything is running as it should be. It’s really important at the moment that we’re on top of things like that – and thankfully my teams are always on the ball. My main role is to ensure the success of the operation and to lead and support all of the staff at the depot – so far I’m finding it a fresh challenge.”

Kel’s favourite part of the job is helping people, whether that’s giving advice on best practice or just helping someone on their shift. His most memorable moment was seeing his CitySightseeing team smash all of the goals he had set for them, feeling really proud of the impact he and his team had had in such a short space of time.

In his spare time, Kel loves to play video games and watch movies. He says he’s a longtime Nottingham Forest supporter too!
