Let's meet Karl

After 22 years behind the wheel as a Driver with us, Karl took on his current role in 2010, describing it as “varied, challenging and busy.”

Karl says he most enjoys visiting our different locations across the North and meeting colleagues – who he says would describe him as “approachable, fair and easy to get along with.”

In his free time, Karl enjoys socialising, family time and gardening – and awards his wife the title of Karl’s Superhero, in his words “as she has to put up with me!” In the kitchen, apart from traditional British favourites, Chinese food is Karl’s favoured takeaway.

Meanwhile Karl’s choice of worldwide destination is the Caribbean – “for the weather and its laid-back attitude”, and his music is the ideal partner as his number one band is none other than “Mr Blue Sky” favourites E.L.O. – the Electric Light Orchestra!
