Let's meet Claire
Since joining us in August 2019, Claire’s been responsible for preparing and analysing our management accounts, budgets and financial forecasts – a role which also involves working with our Transdev Group team in France to improve the flow and clarity of financial information to our decision makers.
Claire also works with auditors at each financial year end to review what we do, and supplies regular updates to external agencies, including the Department for Transport to ensure we receive the correct level of support under the Government’s Covid Support Grant system. Fortunately, Claire loves problem solving!
Claire says her colleagues see her as “talkative, helpful, friendly, hard-working and committed”, and her most memorable moment so far was a pre-Christmas social event in 2019, touring Yorkshire venues on a vintage bus.
In her spare time, Claire enjoys Thai food, working out, walking and travelling: her favourite place in the world to visit is about as far away as it’s possible to go - to New Zealand. She also likes exploring our countryside – by bus, of course - and a pint of real ale!
