Let's meet Anthony

Anthony's first day with Rosso’s predecessor Rossendale Transport was back in 2002 – and then they all joined the Transdev family in 2018. Before that Anthony served for two and a half years with the First Battalion Scots Guards.

Anthony has full responsibility for our Blackburn depot – and for delivering our amazing service to our customers every day. He's accountable for achieving set performance standards in health and safety, risk management, operational efficiency, costs, engineering, the punctuality and reliability of our buses, lost mileage and employee wellbeing and attendance – so there’s plenty to do!

Anthony says the best part of his job is when the team comes together to achieve results. Looking back, the move that saw him become General Manager of The Blackburn Bus Company at Intack depot stands out, because of the challenges of a new environment and the chance for him to bring in fresh ideas to improve efficiency, trust and confidence with the team.

Anthony thinks his colleagues would say he's friendly, down to earth and approachable – he's willing to listen and offer help where he can. Anthiny loves healthy Italian food – the country is a beautiful place to visit – and away from work he enjoys walking, DIY and gaming.
